Mary P. Meadors She was a retired Marlboro County public school teacher for more than 30 years. She was a member of Marlboro County Retired Teachers Association. 24, 1989, at Wallace Thomson Hospital. He was 70. He attended Limestone College and Wofford College. He was a graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. He was a retired optometrist and a U.S.

Air Force veteran of World War II. He was past president of Union County Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of Union County School Board and organized Union's first Boosters Club. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union. Surviving are his wife, Beth Thompson Lipscomb of the home; a daughter, Mrs. George (Pat) Chandler of Mauldin; two sons, Jerry Alan Lipscomb of Union and Victor H.

She taught Spanish and mathematics at Greenwood High School for 23 years. She was a member of Evening Lander Club, N.T.E.A. and Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church where she was a member of the administrative board. She attended Scarritt College for Christian Workers.

He was a graduate of Furman University, did graduate study at the University of Maryland and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Medical Corps.
